Podcasting Or Uploading Mp3 File On Your Blog (the Easiest Way To Share)
Do you like to upload your own mp3 on your blog? Or have you ever thought of starting your own podcasting? Usually those widgets you can find, only allow you to share music from the internet. And I did find quite some tips on how to add my own mp3 .But it is way too troublesome.First you have to download the zip file, look for an internet hosting website, and then upload your flash file and mp3 on it then only copy the html code……replace with your link………
I feel tired even when I’m trying to simplify all those steps over here. It’s troublesome.Really.
I’d been searching for so many websites and finally I stopped at this website ---DivShare.It is a free hosting website that allows you to share your videos, photos and other files. It makes everything so simple! You don’t have to find the player and host your file on another website. It’s all in one website.
You can upload any kind of file on DivShare. However, one thing you have to take note is: DivShare playeris only for mp3 file. So, what I’m going to share with you is only eligible for mp3 file.I've used it on my blog as well.To view it as a player form on my blog and To see the example of how it appears on post:Click on this
Steps:
1) Search for DivShare website.
2) Sign up for free.(Remember, it’s free.If you’re asked to pay, then you’ve sign up for the wrong website.)
3) Upload your podcast(in mp3 format) or audio file.(Please refer to the photos if you do not know how.)
4) Add the title you want to show on your playlist as the tag.
5) Select additional options and create a folder where you want to keep your file.(Next time when you want to update your playlist with new songs, you just have to save it in the same folder. The playlist will be updated automatically on your blog).
6) Once it’s uploaded, click in the link.
7) Click the share button on the player and choose to embed code.
8) Select player’s skin and copy the html code.
9) Paste it on your blog like how you usually do when you’re installing a widget.
10) It’s done! So, you just have to keep uploading your mp3 in the same file, then it’ll be updated on your blog.(Reminder, if for the first time when you create the playlist, it only contains one file, then it’ll not show the playlist on your blog.Only when there are 2 or more files in the playlist, it will show the playlist when you’re getting the code. So, I’ll advise you to get the html code only when there are more than one file in the same folder.Click “embed “ under one of the file in the folder, all files in the same folder will automatically be in the playlist.)
11) You may also embed song on your post instead of one player on top.Just got to your audio file, click on EMBED and there you find your html code and paste in on your post.
Podbean
If you’re interested on podcasting, you can also join Podbean for a readily available website mainly for podcasting. You may view it through this link where I’ve been setting up a website for my own podcasting. It’s mainly to share night music and It’s conducted in Chinese.
You can share it on social networks like Facebook, allow comments, subscriptions on iTunes, customize your player, install widgets and also easy to make your player as widget on blog or embed only one podcast on your blog.
