Have you got this idea of turning your photo into a pencil sketch or a colour pencil drawing? It is quite easy to do it with adobe photoshop. Although there is an option in photoshop where you can change it to colour pencil drawing, sketch, oil painting or even water colour painting. But the effect is somehow not that satisfied. So, there are other options here, which is to do it manually.

1) Go to layer>duplicate layer >name it pencil
2)Click on the pencil
layer>image>adjustments>desaturate
filter>artistic>coloured pencil>adjust the pencil width (3),stroke pressure(3),paper brightness(34)
3) Layer>new adjustment layer>hue/saturation>adjust lightness(+32)

Coloured pencil drawing:
1) Go to layer>duplicate layer for 3 times
For the first duplicated layer,name it coloured pencil
For the second duplicated layer, name it dark stroke
For the third duplicated layer, name it edges
2)Click on the coloured pencil layer
