How Can I Find Out If Someone Is Stealing My Internet Connection?

How can I find out if someone is stealing our line?

Simplest way: Check the flashing lights on the wireless router.?If it is still flashing even after everyone has disabled the connection, then yes there?is intruder. 

Check our router device list: Through the network administrative method we can find out more about our wireless network activity

and change the security settings.
Steps:
1) Get our router’s IP address , paste and search on the browser’s window. Then we will be guided to login our router.

2) To get the IP address: Go to our “network and sharing centre” check for the details. Look at the IP address under Default getaway (or IPv4 default getaway) *for the images on where to find the IP address, please visit my blog*

3) After entering the routers configuration page, search for something like “Device List” ??“Local?Network”?or “My Network”. Then we can compare the list with our IP address see any unwanted users in the list or not.

4) Once you spotted some aliens in the

list then you will be able to take action against them. There are many software available, for example you can try Moocher Hunter which is able to help you locate the wireless hacker , in 2meters accuracy, through the network activities they send out. I would recommend you to report it to the respective authority instead of knocking down the doors of the hackers. Cheers!
